Founded in 2025 to present extraordinary chamber music performances in Suffolk County and the greater Long Island community, SPIRITUS Festival has quickly become recognized for its distinguished roster of internationally acclaimed artists and its thoughtfully curated programming, firmly establishing itself as a leading cultural event in the region.

In 2026, SPIRITUS Festival launched its first education initiative, featuring outreach concerts to local schools as well as the inauguration of an exciting masterclass series showcasing talented young Long Island violinists and pianists receiving world-class instruction from distinguished SPIRITUS International Artists in a public performance setting.

The name SPIRITUS comes from the Latin word for “spirit” or “breath,” reflecting our belief in the power of music as a vital and unifying force that transforms listeners at the deepest level.
